This is us overnighting at the Hong Kong airport. My wife can sleep just about anywhere, as long as she has me to watch over her. One of us must stay awake.
This is Autumn sleeping on the bench at the airport in Hong Kong. What a cutie, and not bad for someone who wasn't even tired. It is about 4 AM Hong Kong time.
This is Lynn and Mackenzie sleeping on the benches.
Lynn and Mack in downtown Hong Kong taking in the sights. Autumn was thrilled with Hong Kong, and thinks she will probably move there when she grows up.
We arrived in Kaula Lumpur about 1 PM local time and James and Suba were there to meet us with son Ashton. We had a very long, tiring flight, and then had a four hour drive to Ayer Tawar, where James and Suba and Ashton live. First of course, we had to stop at Suba's sisters house for a meal, and then we had to go to a local "Starbucks" (sorry Marnie,no Cosmic Grounds in Malaysia yet) for a coffee for the road.
It looks like we will have a very full schedule while here, with many opportunities to share in various churches. It sounds like I will even get to speak occasionally with an interpreter, which will be a first.
Lynn is thinking right now that minus 20 isn't so bad after all. She never has done real well in the heat.
Autumn is going to say a little something now to her classmates in FSJ.
Hi! We've been having a great time here in Malaysia. We just arrived here last nigt(in FSJ today is Thursday.) and had a bite to eat. In Malasia, rice is really famous. So then, after the meal we went on a 4 hr. drive to where we are staying. I slept the whole way there and last night,I woke up at 5:30. Last night I did NOT sleep good because of these REALLY strange noises that almost sounded like a man dieing but in the morning we found out that the people making that noise were pigeions. When me and mom woke up we started to read and dad was still asleep and he was snoring like CRAZY!!! !(heehee) I'll tell you more tomorrow or the next dayBYE!!!
Mack has disappeared for now, so he can have his say next time.
God Bless.
Pray for Lynn. Her and heat do not get along so well.

Wow! Great pictures. Glad to hear that you made it there safely. We were looking for a post all day yesterday, but Crystal told me last night that during the day here, it is night there, so not to expect anything to change during the day. What a smart girl. I'm with mom, extreme heat is not fun. How hot is it there?
Hi guys,
Mom, it looks like you handled the trip okay and we will pray for you to handle the heat. The weather is cold here and snowing STILL.Blogging was a great idea it's really fun to see what you guys are up to. Keep it up and love you lots
Glad to see you made it safely. Hopefully you will all be well rested by today. I have to disagree with you about preferring the 20 below weather though. Its now snowing again in FSJ. It is supposed to snow all weekend. Enjoy the warmth because were in the deep freeze. Happy travels.
Hey guys great to see that you made it safely and how cool that you got to see Hong Kong! Don't worry Lynn, you'll get used to the heat, you just have to accept the fact that you're going to sweat ALOT and your makeup will never stay on. :) Take lots of cold showers. ;) I'll be praying for you all.
Crystal cannot comment on your blog, so she wanted me to send you this...
"Glad to hear you made it, we were looking for your new pictures and were happy to see some new ones. Tell mom to make sure to drink water all the time, it will help her lots. I have the girls watching the blog too so keep updating us. Love ya, Crystal"
Hi mom, dad & Autumn,
I have another comment that has been filtered through me. Dad, you can change the settings, to allow anonymous comments, maybe you should look into that. Here is Elaine's comment
"Hi all,
We've been thinking and praying for you all. What is the actual temperature there anyways? I guess more importantly what is the humidity? Are there lots of bugs-ie.do you have to sleep under a mosquito netting?
I also wanted to remind you that it is vital that you drink tons of water-it will make you feel better too.
Are you getting used to the rice yet? I imagine there will be no potatoes for a while! Maybe meat too?
Hope you are all adjusting to the heat and the huge time shift. Thanks for the quick pics. Now we want to see some scenery too! I understand from the Malaysi website I found that the rainy season starts in Apr. or so. And you thought it could get wet here in the lower mainland area!
Take care and stay out of that hot, hot sun,
love Elaine and Neil and clan"
